Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Furnace Project Engineering Manager with a strong background in the glass industry to lead our furnace design and project management initiatives. This role is critical to the success of our production projects, combining technical expertise with organisational excellence.

- Essential Experience in the Glass Industry: This position requires in-depth expertise in glass furnace processes and systems. This experience is crucial for ensuring the success of our projects.
- Technical Leadership: You will oversee projects ranging from €1M to €10M, ensuring maximum technical precision and operational efficiency.
- Complex Project Management: You will lead both brownfield and greenfield initiatives, working closely with clients to understand their specific needs and provide tailored solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and Implementation: Lead the design and execution of industrial furnace projects specific to glass production.
- Project Management: Oversee and ensure the success of projects, from risk assessments to financial control.
- Client Collaboration: Work closely with clients to deliver solutions tailored to their requirements.
- Team Leadership: Build and lead a project team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Experience in the Glass Industry: A minimum of 9 years’ experience with proven expertise in managing complex technical projects related to glass furnaces.
- Proficiency in Control Systems and Technical Software: Expertise in AutoCAD, 3D modelling, Navisworks, and MS Office.
- International Experience: Comfortable working in a multicultural and matrixed environment.
- Languages: Fluent in English; proficiency in French or German is a plus.
